	ThermoFlash LX-26 is factory-set. Depending on various skin types and thickness, there may be temperature differences. Therefore we recommend that you carry out a simple check when using for the first time. To do so, please follow the instructions in page 3 of the user manual.

	For quick and reliable results, when changing environment with a significant room temperature difference, it is recommended to leave the ThermoFlash LX-26 in that room for 15 to 20 minutes before using.

	In case of fever, 80% of human beings have a more intense temperature diffusion on the facial area situated on the extreme right or left of the forehead between the hairline and the eyebrow (see diagram). We therefore advise you to take the first reading in this area and then to immediately re-take a reading at the center of the forehead to enable verification and to take the highest temperature as reference.

	A perfect knowledge of the Thermoflash is very important, we advise you to read carefully the user manual before the first use.


	CHOICE OF DISPLAY MODE: BODY OR SURFACE TEMP – F3 MENU The ThermoFlash LX-26 is specially designed to take the body temperature of a human being. For this, use the BODY mode. You can also use the ThermoFlash LX-26 to measure the temperature of an area for an object, a food, a liquid or a room temperature. For this, use the SURFACE TEMP mode.

	Press PROG SETTING button for 3 seconds, the screen displays: F1. Press PROG SETTING button twice to get F3. Select 0 by pressing ‘-’ button to get the BODY mode. Select 1 by pressing ‘+’ button to get the SURFACE TEMP mode Confirm by pressing PROG SETTING button.
